Trade Stress for Peace


Getting rid of extra belongings you no longer need and having a clean and organized house will help you feel peaceful. Have you taken steps to de-clutter?

Keeping your house clean, having a chore schedule (daily, weekly, and monthly) will help you stay focused. Short on time? Set aside ten minutes to tidy up. You can accomplish a lot if you stay on track.

What is your morning routine? Do you listen to soothing or engergizing music? Do you eat breakfast? What about a brisk morning walk? All of these activities will help you to overcome stress and feelings of anxiety.

Are you able to relax? Can you be still and give yourself a chance to get your thoughts together? Try to find something relaxing to do every day such as watching fish in an aquarium.

Are you exhausted? Arrange your day so you can take a nap. Twenty minutes can do wonders. If a nap is not possible, plan to get to bed at a decent hour.

Laughter is truly the best medicine. Look for humor it is all around you.
